CHRISTINA OWNER TRAINER

Christina brings over 20 years of K9 experience, she started as a teenager with a rescue dog who had alot of aggression issues and trauma. She took that love of seeing the changes that could happen and continued on to help many other rescue dogs and their families across Canada to have a calmer and happier life together. She brings a natural understanding of dogs and their needs with a non judgmental, fair, yet firm approach to each case. Christina follows the mindset that each dog will require a different aproach. Having grown up on a hobby farm and being able to travel the country, she had the amazing opportunity to train with some very talented teams of mentors and their facilities. Christina went on to further her knowledge at the Edmonton Humane Society where she participated in their training and behavioural programs before returning to Ontario and joining Watch My 6 Service Dogs for four years. They have some of the industries highest standards. Christina has also sucessfully mentored many others who wished to become trainers or just learn more fundumentals about dog training. During those years she gained her certifications and memberships in canine and feline first aid, assessing canine body language, Canadian associations of pet dog trainers(CAPDT), member of International association of canine professionals(IACP) , supporting member of the international association of animal behaviour consultants.(IAABC) Christina is always actively involved by helping local rescues and furthering her knowlegde and education
